“Best tour! Best Guide!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 17, 2012

Don is the best choice you could make for tours in SF area. The wine tour was intimate, varied, best value and informative. Don cares about his customers, goes to great lengths to accommodate them, and is the most personable tour guide you will ever meet. The Carmel tour was beautiful, highly recommended, and a must see. The 17 mile drive is unbelievably beautiful, breathtaking and again, another must do, if you want to see another side of SF. The high rating that Don gets on this site are earned and deserved.

“An excellent experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 17, 2012

This trip was absolutely one of the best things I did in San Francisco. Although our tour was larger than what is usually hosted by the group (12 people), it was very enjoyable. Went to some of the smaller vineyards where they actually spend time with you, explaining their wine and just chatting - rather than the larger vineyards who just pour you a glass and ask "what's next?".

Don (our guide) knew a lot about the area and we enjoyed the trip out to Sonoma just hearing about various details of the area. For lunch we stopped in downtown Sonoma and my girlfriend and I purchased a half bottle of wine and had a picnic in the park. After the winery tours, we stopped in Sausalito and rather than take the van home my girlfriend and I opted for the ferry back to San Francisco which dropped us off at pier 1, right by the trolley stop. Don had offered to pick us up, but since we hadn't yet ridden a trolley we took that back to our hotel.

All in all, the whole day was an absolutely worthwhile experience.

“Best Choice I Made in San Fran!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 28, 2012

This was an amazing tour for an amazing price. We not only got to see some parts of San Fran, but we got to take pictures at the golden gate bridge, stop in Sausalito, but went to three amazing wineries as well. Everywhere we went had a great selection of wines and a lovely atmosphere. I was so happy to come with a small group because it really made it more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this to anyone as an amazing day experience!

“Best tour, great value..”

When researching for wine tours, this happened to be the best reviewed and least expensive, which I completely agree with. He answered all kinds of questions about history and recommendations for other places throughout our stay. Cares a lot about the city, asked about music choices. Never felt rushed, lots of variety between wineries. There was only 5 of us on the tour. He mentioned more flexibility in choices in wineries on weekdays, due to weddings on the weekend (which i can see why, they were gorgeous) Lunch and sampling in sonoma, a nice stop in saulislito, and a postcard perfect stop near golden gate bridge. No negatives...
