This Turkish/Mediterranian resturant was such a lovely surprise....highly recommended. We visited after a play at the Marsh - it's only a block away. The atmosphere is delightful and the food is wonderful. Turkish and Greek classics with a few surprises thrown in. Portions are HUGE - we noticed several diners getting a couple of appetizers and salad rather than an entre and that makes perfect sense. Our feta shrimp appetizer protion included at least half a dozen large shrimp and the salad was easily a meal portion.
Plus it all comes with WONDERFUL homemaid turkish bread that is addictive.
Main courses focus on middle eastern standards - kebabs and classics like stuffed eggplant and mousaaka, all done very well. After the appetizers, consider sharing an entre.
Prices are VERY reasonable here. A welcome change from the overpriced resturants in the neighborhood.
If I have any complaint it's that services is TOO good - they could work on their pacing a bit.
A definate hit for me...
