We have done several of the City Guide walks. Firstly let me say they are a wonderful organisation. The walks are free (a donation envelope is passed around at the end) and there is a huge choice of walks to join. We have done the Ferry Building, The Japanese Tea Garden, China Town, The Palace of Fine Arts and today we did the Windmill area of Golden Gate Park. We have enjoyed them all but each tour really depends on the leader and how proficient and confident they are with the group. Our best experience was today with Mary. The walk was really well organised with good stopping points, a nice distance to walk (some tours involve a lot of standing about) and Mary's delivery was clear and very amusing. We had a great time. We highly recommend these walks.
