The mirror maze was trippy. It was cool that it's kinda dark and has fluorescent lighting. Be careful in there or you'll run into something. There are straight walkways and mirrored revolving doors inside the maze. You're given gloves to wear so you don't leave smudgeprints on the glass as you walk around. I think it was worth the 5 or 6 dollars each we paid to get in. Reaching the exit back out was not as easy as I thought, and my BF and I ended up back at the entrance about three times before we finally figured it out. It's best when there's not alot of people there to distract you, but then again, that makes it more challenging. Have fun!

I entered the maze with my pre-teen and it was interesting for about 60 seconds. If there were a goal to reach a specific destination (other than emerging back out at the desk where you paid to get in) it might be more interesting and challenging. As it is, you wander aimlessly for maybe 5 minutes seeing multiple reflections of yourself and others in your party which is fun for about a minute. Save your money and get some ice cream or better yet change it into quarters and go to musee mechanique.

If you love mirror mazes, this is the one to try. The fluorescent colors and the black lights make it visually appealing than regular mirror maze rooms. It's not too large, but large enough that you will probably have fun for about 10-15 minutes. A $ saving tip: go to the visitor's center on the 2nd floor of Pier 39 and get the discount coupon book. There is a coupon book that has a coupon for 20% off at this place. At the time, the admission was $5 per person and if I had known about the coupon, I could have saved a little. You can get that coupon book by cutting out the coupon at the back of the Pier 39 brochures you get at most hotels and tourist brochure shelves. This coupon must be redeemed to get that coupon book. If you can't find it, just ask the tourist center if you can get a coupon book with your AAA card (I don't know if that will work, but try it if you can't find that Pier 39 travel brochure).

Located on the second floor of Pier 39's shops and really close to the carousel, this place is still hard to find.

Definitely worth maybe 15-30 minutes of fun, depending on how long it takes for you to get through the first time and how often you want to go through the maze again. Make sure to walk SLOW! They give you a plastic glove so you can feel in front of you and not smudge the mirrors.

No food or drink inside. You're encouraged to take all the pictures you want.

Other customers stated when they went there the fog machines were on but not when I went. The maze is dim but they had lights constantly flickering in green and blue.

Great amusement with great price. My kids (11 and 13 y.o.) simply had a great time playing in the maze. They found their way out in less then 10 min but since you can go in as many times as you want they spent almost one hour playing in the maze. Great family fun in SF!
