According to all our friends, my wife makes the best pizza ever. Tony's makes the best we have ever eaten in a restaurant. Authentic Italian, thin crust and loaded with flavours which mingle as you eat. We had the "Americano" with a couple of "Bud" - hey, we are in the US :-) It was fantastic. They also supply complimentary Italian bread slices which are to be dipped in olive oil and to-die-for fresh garlic mixed with a honey-like liquid. This is THE place to go for pizza when in SF - extremely popular - be prepared to wait for seating if you have not booked ahead. Tony Gemignani is an 11 time World Pizza Champion. He is the first in history to win both the acrobatic and baking titles in Italy's Championships.

went here after seeing the reviews and was not disappointed.bustling place with people eating at the bar and food coming in all directions.
wish we had booked as we had to wait to be seated but this is a good sign of which it was and the wait wasnt too long as we had drinks from the bar and chatted.
family had pizza , lasagne , pasta , tiramisu , ice cream and couldnt fault anything.
service was top notch and the waiter offered interesting conversation.
the whole area offered good value for money for a family of 5 eating.

Since moving from NY we have yet to find a 'real 'pizza' place we like. Saw this place on a TV show so we had to stop in. We went for lunch on a sunday. Its a little tricky to find parking, not to many spots without a meter next to it and of course the only ones didnt have meters were occupied. A little corner of a place. We got seating on the outside and it was a little nipply in the shade. They had a heater above us but we were not sure if it was working cause it really didnt warm us up lol. We ordered a pasta dish and a NY pizza. The pizza was underdone, we like it crispy dough and the pasta al dente. If your not used to al dente dont get it. It was OK still on the fence if I would eat there again, the pricing was just OK since the pies were for full size not single serving size.

We arrived at 10 PM, and we only had to wait 15 minutes before we got a table. Highly recommended place to enjoy pizza and beer.

We went to Tony's Pizza Napoletana based on reviews we had read, and everyone was right. The food here was delicious! The waitress was so friendly and helped us with the menu since there are so many choices. We had the Wild Robiola pizza and lasagna. Both were delicious! The side of sauteed spinach was so good that we ordered more.
We tried to go back for dinner the following night, but we arrived at around 7:30pm and the wait was almost 2 hours long.
