We were fortunate to see the Bay Bridge when it was lit up so beautifully. The bay lights are a true spectacle to watch.

The "Bay Lights" on the Bay Bridge are a relatively new attraction for San Francisco and should be on every tourist must see list. I am not aware of any other bridge in the world that has such an impressive display of lighting. Best viewing is not up close, but a block or two away towards Fisherman's Wharf.

To describe it in as few words as possible, I would have to call the Bay Bridge LEDs visual classical music. The lights dance at such a relaxing rhythm, that you're almost mesmerized by them. I'm sure I could have stayed there for a few hours if I didn't have to catch the BART to get home. The Bay Lights are lit every night and I honestly feel that it wouldn't get old for me to watch them dance every night. I love tech and lifestyle, and when they combine they produce a brilliant product. This bridge is useful as transportation point of connection (Eastbay to San Francisco) and an awesome canvas for LEDs!

We travelled across the SF Bay Bridge a couple of times en route to tours scheduled for outside SF proper. The bridge is beautiful to look at and just as enjoyable to travel on. While traffic was moving well, the view from the bridge was great. It's a long roadway, so if you don't care much for bridges I'd say have someone else drive and you shut your eyes-- for a long time. It really was a LONG bridge!

Anyhow, a nice way to travel out of the city and back in, but lots of traffic, which is normal for any city such as SF.

I've driven over this bridge, literally, over a thousand times. But seeing it from the Embarcadero, Treasure Island, and Yerba Buena offer much different perspectives. And seeing the bridge at night from the Embarcadero is really cool with the relatively new lights on the north side of the bridge; it's a great light show.
