The venue is lucky to have some of the best Blues musicians in the world right here in the city, and has been honored time and time again as the Bay Area's #1 Blues club. For 20 years Biscuits and Blues has earned the respect of the Blues community and has been named America's #1 Blues nightclub by both the Blues Foundation and by the Bay Area Blues Society. Six nights a week Biscuits and Blues works to keep the blues alive with two shows a night. If it's Blues, they approve: Delta, Chicago, Texas, Boogie-woogie, Gospel, Old-time, Jazz, Brass and Soul. On any given night you'll find ribs on the grill, New Orleans-style Gumbo in the pot, and Creole Jambalaya hot off the pan. Biscuits and Blues also serves California wines, local microbrews and their signature selection of specialty cocktails from their full service bar.

What do you want for $15, great music and atmosphere, you got it here.
The food was very reasonable and especially try the southern wings and chicken and a Southern Delight.
The service from our waiter was great and we overall had a fantastic night.

We went here because its supposed to be the best blues in San Fran. Paid $24 each to get in. The location is great, the food is OK. The entertainment on this particular night (John Lee Hooker Jr) was NOT worth )$24. It was lame at best. More of a house band to me. Based on my experience, the place is a bit over-rated.

We thought this would be a fun activity whilst visiting SF and enjoyed their Monday Jazz Series immensely. A small, intimate club - great live music, awesome talent. Good food and great drinks menu - very reasonably priced. It was mostly a local crowd and we felt like we'd stumbled across a gem of a blues club.

Typical laid back, intimate jazz club atmosphere with ok food and drinks. The set we saw was quite good but slightly diminished by a large group of Gen Y'ers who were loud and disinterested in the music. After observing that rude behavior and in reading some of the reviews here it seems like some people have misplaced expectations about a jazz/blues club - you go there for the music. And even with the cover, it's about a tenth the price of a Bieber concert. The group we heard was smokin' and well worth the cover.

Listened to a great jazz/blues band, but they only played for 1 hour (since they had another show at 10pm). The food was ok but quite expensive, and the beer was pretty weak (typical US draft beer?). I would recommend this place for the music and would probably return, but wouldn't eat there again
