“Nice meal”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 22, 2013

came here with the kids - one fell asleep and one didn't like anything - so ditch the kids and go yourselves! the food was quite nice (i have been to an amazing mexican restaurant in NZ recently so its hard to measure up!). the decor is nice and the staff were great. if you have a mexican craving - check it out.

“Disappointing Mexican food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 9, 2013

The menu had looked interesting and the setting combined an awning enclosed "outdoor" eating area plus an indoor. We had been in the area, looking for Peet's Coffee (our favorite!) but unfortunately, all three things my husband and I ordered at Nopalito were disappointing. We will not return.

“Lunch at the Lito”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 11, 2013

On my way to Golden Gate park for the day, I stopped in to Nopalito for lunch and sure was glad I did. I thought the food was excellent. Very fresh, awesome flavors and a unique twist on Mexican. Try it and you will like it. The atmosphere was nice, easy to talk and enjoy the yummy food!

“Locals Haven”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 3, 2013

You like healthy food prepared in interesting and tasty ways? You like friendly, amenable waitstaff and a cool interior? You like a great wine and beer menu AND tequila options? Then this is your spot. I can't think of another SF restaurant that is serving food of this quality for this price point. Our favorites: Antojitos: Picadita de Suadero y Chorizo & Taco de Pato con Mole Negro Oaxoqueno. One more word: GO!

“Fantastic neighborhood deli and takeout!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 28, 2013

I discovered Falletti Foods while staying at a vacation rental in lower Haight neighborhood. This market & deli is a wonderful place! It has everything you need - whether you want to cook a lavish dinner party or go on an impromptu picnic in the park! Great selections of wine, cheese, charcuterie, as well as meat, seafood and fresh organic produce! Oh yea, there’s also a café/bakery (smells heavenly!) inside the store with a scrumptious selection of cakes/pastries worth dying for! The deli counter is super busy (big long line at lunch!), but it’s an excellent place to grab a quick bite including made-to-order gourmet sandwiches, paninis, salads, quiches, etc. I ordered a delicious chicken caesar sandwich: grilled chicken, parmesan cheese, romaine lettuce, caesar dressing, on thick slices of sourdough bread ($7.99). Very patient and cheerful staff! Customers can enjoy their lunch at the tables and chairs outside on the sunny sidewalk. I took mine to the nearby Alamo Square Park for the lovely view of the city skyline.
Note: The name of this place is spelled wrong on the headline above and so is the name “Napolito” Mexican Kitchen. Check out TripAdvisor reviews for this restaurant under its correct name “Nopalito”.
