My group of 5 had a fabulous time touring the charming streets of Napa and its lovely waterfront. Our guide Mary (such an expert) was charming and fun and gave us as much 'verbal flavor' of Napa and its history as we received in culinary bites of some of Napa's finest.

We visited 1 week after the 8/24 6.2 earthquake and Napa was very much up and running and openf or business. The resilience of this lovely town and it's people truly touched us, as they did not miss a bit in showing us proudly around their city and were back to the basics, even while the road to recovery continues. The aftermath of the quake did not deter our trip in anyway, and it actually enhanced our experience as we saw true Napa ingenuity and perserverance at work.

I will definitely be back! Lots more to see in Napa and the entire Napa valley!

I and my wife took this tour on a Sunday afternoon. We love to explore local cuisine and this was a perfect opportunity to do just that. There were places and food we discovered that we wouldn't have on our own. Our guide, Melissa, was very knowledgeable and had planned the tour very well. We learnt the history of the neighborhood, met the people behind the local food scene and sampled some great food.

We had a fabulous Sunday afternoon exploring Hayes Valley and sampling so many delicious little delights. The food was fabulous. There was something for everyone, and not only do you get to try at least 7 or 8 different spots, and you also learn about other great options in the neighborhood.

We had both vegetarians and those with dairy allergies and they made sure to accommodate them very well, except perhaps at the amazing butcher shop with the most beautiful meat you have ever seen including many large cuts hanging off meat hooks in the back (made my vegetarian teen a little woozy.)

You'll be tasting sandwiches, snacks, sweets, wine, beer, definitely a filling lunch substitute. Our guide, Melissa was great, very knowledgeable and friendly. The walking is easy and you get to sit at a few of the stops.

Hayes Valley is one of those great neighborhoods that gives you a feel for local SF life without a lot of tourists, and there are great little local shops and boutiques to check out before or after the tour. Fun fact from our guide - stores in the area are supposed to have fewer than nine locations, so you don't get a ton of the same chain stores you see everywhere else. I'd highly recommend this tour for locals and tourists alike. I might have to try the NoPa or chocolate tours next!

We went on the Hayes Valley Tour Friday. It was great. Our tour guide was very informative about the area as well as all of the local food places, including ones we didn't stop at. Great little neighborhood with so many small shops and food places. Lots of different types of food. A real treat. Highly recommended!

Just finished our gourmet walk of Hayes Valley today August 1. All three of us loved it. Our guide was wonderful and the food was superb! It is 5:30PM right now and we are more than full. Would highly recommend this walk to any visitor to SF. Very easy walk at a relaxing pace.
