My group of 5 had a fabulous time touring the charming streets of Napa and its lovely waterfront. Our guide Mary (such an expert) was charming and fun and gave us as much 'verbal flavor' of Napa and its history as we received in culinary bites of some of Napa's finest.
We visited 1 week after the 8/24 6.2 earthquake and Napa was very much up and running and openf or business. The resilience of this lovely town and it's people truly touched us, as they did not miss a bit in showing us proudly around their city and were back to the basics, even while the road to recovery continues. The aftermath of the quake did not deter our trip in anyway, and it actually enhanced our experience as we saw true Napa ingenuity and perserverance at work.
I will definitely be back! Lots more to see in Napa and the entire Napa valley!
