“Were locals Play”
Reviewed March 28, 2014

Crissy Field was once a landing strip for the Presidio Army base. It now boasts wide open spaces where you can walk, run, throw Frisbees, fly a kite, enjoy the views of the Golden Gate Bridge or people watch. Any day is a good day in this National Recreation area.

“What's with the sculptures?”
Reviewed March 23, 2014

I have a theory that I only call something art if it is something that I couldn't do. Whilst the walk along Crissy Field was pleasant (although surrounded by ridiculously thin people running with their ridiculously small dogs), I was confused by the sculptures - massive iron things representing some pretentious nonsense that I didn't understand.

I could weld those together therefore I don't class them as art :)

“Surprisingly Beachy”
Reviewed March 19, 2014

Parking is FREE! Although it looks like a green park, when you approach the edge, be prepared to sit on a beautiful shore. Beautiful front view of the Golden Gate Bridge-highly recommended during the day.
