My boyfriend and I visited San Fransisco in January 2020 and although it was a tad cold the experience was great. We got to see great places that we would have not known about if we didn't get to take this tour. Valerie and John were very friendly and accommodating. Valerie recommended a few great restaurants and we ended up going to Tony's Pizza Napoletana which was outstanding, so thank you Valerie.

One thing that could have been a bit more organized is meeting spot. I booked the tour via 3rd party and I was told that the location will be shared via tickets. However it just said Fishermans Wharf and that is all. I ended up calling customer service and we were able to figure things out, the actual location was about 15-20 min away from where I thought it was going to be. Heads up for all future customers, call customer service the day of the tour to get clear directions to where meeting spot is.

Took the classic trolley tour today with Joseph & Mia. It was awesome. Mia is an excellent driver and Joseph did such a great job of telling us all about this great city. He is so personable, really knows his stuff, has the perfect balance between friendly and professional and is truly an asset to Hornblower.

We got early to the dock to find Jessica, our guide, already there waiting for us.
We we the first ones on ‘the rock’ so the early VIP tour is a great choice. We did the audio tour with hardly anybody in the cell house.
After the Alcatraz tour Jessica and our driver Joan took us on an extensive tour of San Fran.
Jessica was very informative and her tips for where to eat were spot on. (Tony’s Pizza was fantastic)
We had a good tour and lots of laughs along the way.

Unclear meeting spot. There should have been a signage of Hornblower Classic Cable Cars on site. The indication of " the orange jacket and the flag" was not that. Robin ( tour guide) wore jackets that looked like light brown , or I may say, fading out colour of orange. And she did not raise a flag as indicated on the paper.
Fortunately, she was great guide. Friendly. This is why I mark 4points here on feedback.
