I've stayed at this Travelodge on and off for 15 years and love its location. It's a "transitional" neighborhood, but the hotel has always seemed safe and separate. And the staff was always wonderful. That's changing and I fear that if they don't improve their attitude and security, they will, and should, go under. Fighting, yelling, really loud noise at night: that can be controlled. They need a security person on at night. And they refused to refund the payment of a client who arrived at 6:30 am, found no hot water (one boiler was broken), came down at 6:45 asking for a refund so she could find another place to freshen up. They played hardball and it was ugly. GUYS, THIS IS ALL IN YOUR POWER TO CORRECT. You have a great location; don't lose out because you are unwilling to treat folks better and provide more security, especially on weekends.
