“One of my favorite restaurants”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 11, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

I am not tourist reviewing this restaurant but a local who comes here when I can during lunch because its about three blocks from work. Unfortunately, I can't get in most times since its packed full with a line waiting out the door. But when I can get in the cajun food they have is great. Best place for biscuits. I love their fried chicken and their grits. If you can get there early or late, its a great place for eating.

“Best breakfast in San Fran”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 4, 2013

We went here twice and both time were outstanding! I could have gone 6 more time and still not eaten all the things I wanted to the menu and daily specials made it so hard to choose! One time there was a bit of a wait for a table but that's to be expected it you want to eat anywhere popular at the busiest time!

“Wonderful American breakfast”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 22, 2013 via mobile

Undoubtedly one of the best places to have breakfast in San Francisco, wonderful chocolate beignet, great eggs and bacon, if you don't mind waiting for up to 30 minutes then avoid this place because it's very crowded but worth every minute and penny...

“Not all Cajun but all very good.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 21, 2013

There is a line out the door for lunch so if you can go for dinner. The fried chicken is the best I have ever had. The gumbo was good although needed to be spicier, drumming down for a mainstream audience.

“Good, but misleading name...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 21, 2013

There's no doubt about it, the food is good and the location is nice. But if you are looking for a breakfast other than an american one, even if it's influenced by the southern kitchen, you will be disappointed. The coffee is good, but no croissant, no baguette, no french breakfast soul
