Lands End is easier to park than along Point Lobos Avenue. And you could look at Seal Rocks and Sutro Baths ruins from the parking lot. You could see Farrallon Islands when the sky is clear. And there is a coffee shop located inside the National Park building adjacent to the Land End parking lot which is also wheelchair accessible. Also, there is public bathrooms next to the Park building.

Gorgeous place to take photos. Its a little piece of wilderness in the city. Just be sure to bring a jacket, its always cold even when the rest of the city is bright and sunny.

My husband and I parked at the Lands End parking lot and walked down to the Sutro Baths. (This is a free four hour parking lot close to trail head.) Then it was up to the cliff side along the ocean towards the Golden Gate. The trail has options. You can follow stairs down to several beaches. Worth doing! There are also stairs along the main path. Not wheelchair or stroller accessible. The views are spectacular. With each turn the Golden Gate comes closer into view. People are friendly, and there were a number of friendly, well mannered dogs as well. We walked through the neighborhood and ended our walk at Bakers Beach. We wanted to walk farther than return the same path and took a taxi from Bakers Beach back. Will be doing this again with friends and family.

It makes you feel alive! You feel like the land really ends here and there is nothing more but the ocean.
The wind is pretty strong, so be careful. And tie your hair!
When I got to the point, there was a couple opening champagne and having a romantic lunch, so I did not spend a lot of time there. On the other hand, there was somebody I could to take a picture of me :)
