“A Wonderful Place To Visit In Golden Gate Park”
Reviewed February 12, 2014

This is a fun and interesting place filled with flowers and plants from many different Eco-systems. There are the upper and lower rain forests, and water plants, and even a very cool butterfly house. The place is filled with info, stories, and lots of orchids - the best thing about the giant house. It is in central Golden Gate Park in SF, so there is lots to see in the park as well.

“Always wowed by the permanent exhibits and amazed by the special exhibits”
Reviewed January 28, 2014

This time out we saw the butterfly exhibit. I don't know how they manage these great exhibits in the small wing. It was also great to see the usuals: blooming orchids and tropicals.

“A Jungle Jumble”
Reviewed January 5, 2014

A pleasant warm steamy interlude in the park, there are very few signs to help one understand what one is seeing. The kids I saw there were enchanted. Tons of orchids, beautiful. If you are going to compare with someplace like Longwood Gardens you will be disappointed.
