My grown son and I took the tour which commences at the Galleria Park Hotel and covers 4 sq blocks of the city - which may not sound like much until you experience it. For both of us, a twenty-something and his parent, Rick's tour was very special. It transitions architectural history of the city from the earthquake/fire to today (and the future). We saw things we had walked by the previous day without noticing. Rick's style makes this low key and comfortable - regardless do how much you know (or don't know) about architecture. The 2 hours flew by. We both had a fascinating time - both learning and enjoying. And if you do not know what a "po-po" is you need to take the tour! One of the great secrets ofthe city.

Rick Evans knows a lot about the history of the buildings of San Francisco, and I love the way he presents the materials with so much enthusiasm. We had a great morning learning all about the history of the different styles of buildings including old bank buildings and other landmarks from decades of San Francisco history. We ended the tour with a visit to Rincon Center, which is under construction and will redefine urban living. Very exciting. Sign up for Rick's tour and learn all about it!

This is a walking tour, but it is easy on the legs, and is only 2 hours long. I learned a lot about the history of San Francisco, and we saw inside some special buildings and private but public spaces. The handout we were given at the end was a great touch - with some details about what we saw and some additional material we could look at on line. I think children would get restless as they usually aren't much for standing around and looking at fabulous ceilings etc, but everyone on the tour loved it. Rick is enthusiastic and very very knowledgable.

This is a great tour to learn about some of the interesting architecture of San Francisco. It was so informative and you will definitely look at things differently after the tour. Rick Evans is great tour guide who is passionate about what he does. It's two hours well spent.

Rick's tour was informative and eye-opening. He took our group on walk around our office building, traversing the steps I take to get to my office each day, and revealed a world of architecture and history, that I had never "seen" before. He was well-informed and passionate. It was a great way to see San Francisco from a new perspective.
