Grace Cathedral is located on Nob Hill in San Francisco on Taylor / California Streets. It is highly recommended and a must see for architectural and cathedral buffs. American cathedrals rate relatively low compared to those seen in Europe but Grace is quite pleasing and as beautiful as St. Patrick’s in New York and the National Cathedral in DC.
Grace is open for walk in visits on most days and of course for services, please check the website. Parking is expensive in SF. There are garages close by which will charge a very high price to park. The cable car (California line) runs right by the cathedral as well as the 1 California bus line which goes up Sacramento Street on the North side of the cathedral. Exit at Taylor Street.
