When entering this hotel, it is almost pitch dark. When after a mix up, we finally got to our room, someone had been smoking in it. I have asthma, so we had to drag our bags back down to the dark lobby and get another room. The next morning, I went to shower and noticed there was no safety mat. I foolishly showered anyway, rinsed my hair with their conditioner, which made the tub slick, and hit my head on a granite wall, behind me.
The staff was very put out that I had bothered to fall in their hotel. As a precaution, they sent me to their doctor, who sent me to the hospital and I was diagnosed with a severe concussion. This on my second day of vacation. I was advised to not go to the high altitude national forest, we had rented a car to see. The cliff claims no responsiblity for my medical bills, which rang in at about $4,000. The staff was very rude and non apoligetic, when I mentioned they should have rubber mats for safety, the manger gave me a disgusted look.More
