Its a small indian-pakistani self-service food joint very close to the UCSF campus. Great quality of food. Food is very tasty and not much spicy either. The price is extremely reasonable. People were friendly. You will also get a free cup of tea when you dine in. However, they should work on the cleanliness and decor of this place. It looks a bit shabby.
P.S. If you are ordering "roti", order just one per person. It is too heavy.

Cute local restaurant with a huge variety of Indian and Pakistani food for a great price. Fed three easily with 2 entrees, rice, and naan for $20. Atmosphere is not fancy, but the service is great, the staff is super friendly, and the food is delicious. We were also so excited they actually made the food spicy for us - many places won't believe to actually want spicy and bring it out pretty mild :)

We went for Lunch to this Pakistani joint. The food (paneer, Dal) was tasty, hot and freshly made. The Rotis need a lot of work - the flour used is of a very low quality. The Naan was quite good. Rice dish was excellent. You order on the counter. The prices are very reasonable.
The ambiance is shady at best, the restrooms need to be cleaner. We were asked to move from the table on which we were sitting to another table saying that "the table is near the prayer place".... Absurd - if the prayer place is sacred, why place a table there? Overall verdict - good value for money, you may be doing very well to have a takeout.
