“Show your kids a dead duck and freak them out.”

This is how the rest of the world lives. I took my two young girls there and we had a blast playing with the cheap toys and teasing each other with exotic food.

“Maybe the biggest, but not the best!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 27, 2013

It is a pretty large Chinatown. But I felt like they were "letting it go" a bit. Lots of trash and quite a bit of run down buildings. Once you are about a block into it, it feels more like you might get mugged. The stores were fun, but most have the exact same thing in them. We were disappointed that the overhead Chinese lanterns were not really "lit". They had little lights in them, but you could not see that they were lit until you got directly under them. So I feel it should only get a 2.5. The restaurant we ate in was not that great. It seemed to be falling in around us...just not well kept up.

“Best chinatown”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 27, 2013

i think this is one of the largest chinatown in the world. it is really huge! u should spend some time to walk around. plenty of food choice available - chinese, vietnamese, thai etc...

u can also have a nice view of golden gate bridge from here.

if u like ginseng, u can purchase it here as it's quite a famous product.

“If you're nearby, may as well have a look”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 26, 2013

Depending on your thing, you may love or hate Chinatown. However it's very pretty at night with all the lights and if you like Chinese food you will be in luck with some great authentic food! It's an easy walk down to town from here so you're not exactly put out if you don't like it.
