“Great Views”
Reviewed August 30, 2014

Very good views of the Bay, bridges, islands within the Bay and San Francisco. Worth the uphill climb that is required. Take a camera.

“Beg to differ on the payoff for the climb up...”
Reviewed August 29, 2014 via mobile

Age 63, relatively good shape. Had good shoes. Saw no point in the stairs. All the stuff you read about wild parrots and gorgeous vegetation??? Not a parrot or any other bird and as of today, the botanical wonder paled in comparison to the misery of the useless trek. Take your car. There's a great lot. Yes, after all the climbing, we could have waited in line for an hour for the elevator, but no thanks. Maybe it's just me.

“Great views wear good shoes”
Reviewed August 21, 2014

Walked up the hill from little Italy. Quite a hike but some good city views on the way up. 45 min wait for elevator up Coitt tower. Spent time looking at fantastic murals in the lobby. There on a rare sunny day great 360 views of the city. Walked down the Filbert steps pretty. A must do when in SF

“Best views of the city”
Reviewed August 19, 2014

I really enjoyed the hill and the walk, but bring good shoes and be ready to sweat! But you get nice views of the city, and overall it's just amazing. I was surprised to find parking on the top. The elevator was a bit of a bummer with over 45 minute wait. Murals were great. I would try to find parking first if in a hurry.
