I've been by this building before and was in awe of its architecture but it was closed every time. That did not stop me from enjoying the immense flower gardens outside. My husband and finally planned a trip around attractions we hadn't seen yet and this was top of the list!!! We arrived and were escorted into a humid paradise of plants and flowered from around the world:) I got to enjoy water features, ponds, and the butterfly exhibit is not to be missed. We loved reading about all the different flowers and plants origin and history. We tagged in on a tour in progress and learned a few unique things about a sculpture in place. We will go back for sure.

This is a very large garden. The map is a bit difficult to follow and it takes time to get to the different areas. I would only go here if you truly LOVE gardening.

One of the best botanical gardens I have ever been to see. It's unbelievably huge and very cheap for the amount of time you will end up spending there. There are hundreds (thousands?) of different plants to be seen at this place. Give yourself a lot of time.

For only $7 we got to wander through this big park of well kept nature. It was perfect for a leisurely stroll and we really enjoyed it.

i was the last visitor of a drizzly, overcast day. when i walked in i realized i was perhaps the only visitor too. the fragrance of magnolia, the silence of the redwood groves and the heavenly ambience of the moonlight garden in the dark twilight... this is the kind of place you dream of - how i wished i brought my favourite piano sonatas along - they were written to be heard here, on the lonely benches of these gardens, i am convinced
