Good food, large menu, for the seafood lover.
I had the cioppino with pasta. Tasty.
Good ambiance in a busy and touristy area.

Great views! I would return.

Enjoyed walking around Pier and seeing the sea lions and across to Alcatraz before dinner. Had oysters, lobster tails and dessert and it was wonderful. Server was excellent.

Classic on the wharf dining experience. Good food but not great food. We had a crab louie and a fried seafood plate. Good shrimp, calamari. Great service and bread with butter. Fun view. Just wanted it to be better. Fast seating because of Open Table reservation.

Like others, we were skeptical the first time we ate here, but this is not your typical "touristy" restaurant. The seafood is fresh, the wait staff is very good, and the view is fantastic! We ate here for my husband's birthday over the Fourth of July weekend. When we arrived, the reservation had been written down for the wrong day, but no worries! The staff quickly arranged a decorated table with an excellent view. This time we decided to eat our dinner of only sides and appetizers. First of all, the oysters are ALWAYS fresh and delicious. Their clam chowder is always very good! We also ate fried calamari which is made using all the yummy parts of the squid...they know how to do it right at Fog Harbor. I also ate a beet salad which was excellent. Anything we have ever tried on the menu has been fresh and great! The staff will take great care of you. This has become one of our favorite San Francisco restaurants because of their quality food and service.

We were skeptical but became true believers after dining at Fog Harbor. Their happy hour prices were great for San Francisco; the view, unmatched; and, most importantly, the food and service were fabulous! Clam chowder was stupendous; nice free bread basket; good seafood; and nice wine list too. Only one item ordered (a shrimp appetizer - mushy) was subpar, which was pretty good for a table of six!
