“Had dinner here 9-23-13 based on TA reviews”
Reviewed October 5, 2013

We had dinner here with two friends from Australia who were visiting and it was outstanding.

Rudy, our server, was tops ! Food was wonderful. Restaurant was very busy that night but we were still seated immediately. The menu selection is diverse and offers something for all likes and preferences. Portions, IMO, were huge and none of us could finish all of them.

My fried Calamari was excellent. Definitely worth a try if you're on Pier 39

“Great culinary experience!”
Reviewed October 4, 2013 via mobile

After a long day of touring around San Fco area, decided to eat around at Pier 39 as recommended by a friend. Decided to try Fog Harbor, and my wife and I have no regrets. We started with the soup/chowder and the fried calamari, which were superb! Service was excellent. Very nice view of the bay, and great spot to watch the sunset. Definitely an A+ for this restaurant.

“The Casual, "That Hit the Spot" Kind of Place”
Reviewed October 2, 2013

After countless suggestions of places to dine in this area we thought to go casual and enjoy the waterfront and get some good seafood. It is most certainly a more touristy area but the patrons are all there for the same reason; basic and simple dishes. Granted, these dishes were simple, but certainly did not disappoint. The view of the boats and the water were a much needed element to cross of the list for a successful weekend in SF. Service was great and the food was right on target. The lobster and the whitefish were delicious and all their deserts made a bunch of Chi town foodies feel right at home. If you want a down to earth place to hang your hat after a long day of exploring the city and it's piers check it out.

“Outstanding Crab”
Reviewed October 2, 2013

My wife ordered crab, shrimp, clams and mussels for two, and the meal was more than enough for both of us. The entire dish was floating in butter and was delicious. The crab was about the best we have ever had, but the mussels were a bit small. The views were great and the ambiance very wonderful. It is a bit expensive but that is the price for great crab.
