“Attractive houses”
Reviewed March 15, 2013

The houses were attractive, but just houses. Alamo square is very nice on a sunny day!
If you get the chance, visit Phil's cafe on the corner of Turk and Van Ness street, best coffee!! A very popular cafe in the area.

“Love these Ladies!”
Reviewed March 3, 2013

We took a walking tour of these lovely SF Victorians and got a peek at the history, architectural styles, behind-the-scenes tidbits, colorful characters, of these landmark San Francisco structures-- do not miss this tour by Ken Marquis, it was one of the best things we did last year.

Reviewed February 21, 2013 via mobile

Visited the painted ladies on a bus tour.
Very elegant victorian homes
Very expensive but would worth it if u had that kind of money to spend!
A must do a tour so they can explain everything about their history!

“bus tour stop”
Reviewed February 6, 2013

This is a beautiful street that we saw for about 5 minutes (next to alamo square) when we went on a $60 bus tour. I later found out you can take the regular muni bus for $2 and see it too! Haha! but they are beautiful :)

“Beautiful views and lovely park”
Reviewed February 5, 2013 via mobile

Alamo Square Park is a perfect place to buy sandwiches on Scott St between Fell & Hayes at Alamo Deli - walk to park and sit on lawn or benches, tables at playground . Enjoy beautiful views of the city and see the beautiful Painted Ladies. There is a great playground for kids, a dog park area, bathrooms, and tennis courts . Short walk to all busses.
