Great place and great park. On top of that it is a famous place because of the movie with -Sean Conery - the Rock :)

Visit the Palace of Fine Arts late in the afternoon to catch the changing light of the evening and to watch the lights come on as the daylight fades away. This is a San Francisco park, but I have never seen a park policeman come through. The grassy park is a favorite for picnickers and cloud watchers. People like walking the paths and enjoying the plants, flowers and waterfowl. Taking pictures for weddings and other celebrations is also very popular. As well as an interesting backdrop, the Palace itself is also a wonderful photo subject. So bring your tripod and camera and take photos throughout the time you are there. It is a great place to spend time. Safe travels. Cheers.

It is a structure not to be missed, it gives a feeling you are away from a busy city. Just the perfect place for photography. Nice walk around the lake and see the ducks out , very peaceful a place to unwind and just enjoy the nature.

Nice architecture and gardens to walk around for a couple of minutes. It doesn't take long to visit this place. The Presidio area has several others sites of interest to visit close by.

Gorgeous to see! Stopped here on a bus tour. Would be beautiful at night. Awesome that they left the place stand with nothing inside.
