“Neat area”
Reviewed November 8, 2012

First of all, the sea lions are soo entertaining and cool to watch. The little shops, restaurants, etc. on the pier feel new and updated, as well as, touristy. We didn't stay long in this area but it was fun to check out and walk through. Again, this is the place to watch the sea lions! It's the closest we got to them our whole trip and you have a great opportunity to observe their behaviors, antics and interactions.

“only once”
Reviewed November 6, 2012

locals will not be found here...... but, if you are just wanting to look around and buy souvenirs, this is perfect. check out the rocket boat rides.. pretty cool. The best food in the area is Scoma's. been there for a long long time too. might be a wait but well worth it.

“seals”
Reviewed November 6, 2012

Very tourist orientated, but worth a visit for the seals on their own. The shops range from typical tourist clothing hoodies, baseball caps and sweatshirts to the more obscure bush knifes and tattoos.
