“Park , SLEEP & FLY !!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 24, 2011

Our stay was Oct 5th, 2011. This was the second time we stayed at this hotel for the Park, Sleep & Fly deal. The hotel is nice and in really good shape. Both times we had a room facing the water and that was a nice touch. The staff is friendly and helpful. Colleen the bartender at the pub was friendly & full of fun.

The hotel shuttle drives you to the airport. The van leaves on the hour. They pick you up upon your return with a simple call to the hotel and they should arrive within 15 minutes.
The van driver should have your keys in the van so he can drop you off at your car and away you go. We happen to call for our pick up and the driver was already at the airport so our wait was under 2 minutes. He was not expecting us so he did not have our keys, when we arrived back to the hotel there was an employee of the hotel in the parking lot with our keys! Now that it Great service! Overall they do a terrific job at this Best Western.

Getting into the hotel parking lot is a little difficult you may need to make a U-Turn and drive under a bridge.

The only other real problem is both times I booked the reservation it should have come with a $10.00 gift certificate to use in the Pub. Both times I was told they no longer offer the gift certificate. But as of the time I wrote this review they still offer the gift certificate on http://www.parksleepfly.com so good luck getting your $10 certificate.
The Park, Sleep & Fly is great and I plan on using it in the future!

Room Tip: look at a map before you go. Your G.P.S. might not be accurate and you may need to make a U-Turn to...

A nice clean older hotel. Park and fly beats trying to park at the airport. friendly staff on check in, shuttle driver in and out was friendly. Call for pickup at the airport was a some what short and curt.
Over all we will be staying there the next flight out.

Hotel is clean but old, duh. People are friendly. The breakfast is great. It has a nice location but it is far from downtown Boston. The walk to the train is about 1/2 mile. Then you must take the train for some time. Will definitely stay closer to downtown next time. Aside from that the hotel was good and if I had to stay in Quincy again I would stay here for sure. Beds were not that comfy though.

Room Tip: Stayed on the first floor, next to the lake. Very quiet.

Old hotel built in 1957 located on a riverfront near Quincy . All the staff are devoid of smiles and have blank stares. Construction in the area makes getting to the hotel tricky, GPS will not give you correct info, recommend calling to get directions . Renovated rooms still look worn , brick walls, shabby carpet , wood planked ceiling , old analog tv's . River views not impressive and booking a room with a " water view" may not be worth the extra fee. NO thermostat, it's a noisy wall unit with " high heat" , " low heat" and fan settings. Included breakfast good, tasty with limited but popular choices. free wifi fast, reliable. 15 minute walk to T (subway) station which could be a reason to stay there . Elevator slow , makes weird noises , somewhat frightening.

The hotel was very nice. The room overlooked the river that provided an excellent view. The banquet rooms for the U.S. Navy ship reunion were excellent in size. The food served at a clambake and banquet was very good and well presented. Can't say enough about the excellent service that the hotel staff provided. The only drawback was having to wait for almost two hours for the airport shuttle at the airport. Seems that the shuttle was dispatched to downtown Boston during rush hour and that was a deviation from the hotel to airport route.

Room Tip: river view rooms offer an excellent view

We stayed at the Best Western Adams Inn in Quincy for two nights in Sept 2011. As you can tell from the photos, it is not a new hotel but our room was fine - spacious, quiet, nice linens, clean, and the a/c worked great. There was a pub restaurant conveniently right off the front lobby. The next morning, we drove to the Quincy ferry and took it into Boston for a day.

The only problem we encountered was not the fault of the hotel. There is a construction project on the bridge crossing the river just before the hotel. Once over the bridge, the construction combined with the one way street in front of the hotel made it extremely difficult to access the hotel. We were unable to find an alternate entrance/exit. The second night we returned earlier in the evening and the problem was compouned by rush hour traffic. By that time, I was wishing I had chosen a different hotel for that reason alone.

The hotel is located close to Boston, either by car or train (station close by) one can quickly get into the city. That's the good part. Hotel was kind of old and rooms need updating. Our room was smelly, assume it used to be a smooking room earlier. The pub in the hotel might be nice but can be noisy, especially when drunk people are hangingaround in front of entrance and lobby. Breakfast was good as it was served in the pub - 4 standard bf to choose from. Overall, if you have a car, go to one of the much nicer airport hotels in Saugus, at same price or even cheaper, and still only 10 minutes away from Boston city center. This hotel is not usual Best Western standard unfortunately.
