“The Best Chinese Food I Have Ever Eaten”
Reviewed June 12, 2014

Wow! We pulled off the freeway in Quincy after leaving the airport, looking for some place to eat. We happed upon Cathay Pacific and decided to stop because the parking lot was full. We figured it must be good. Loved the appeal of the building, too, as it has a Polynesian look. We were quickly seated. Complimentary hot tea and soft bread with butter for the table. We ordered the combination plates, which were very affordable at a price around $13. When we got our plates, we were blown away with the portion sizes. The best part is that it was absolutely delicious! We had tons of leftovers. What a great experience!

“Good Chinese meal”
Reviewed June 9, 2014

We tried this restuarant as it was within walking distance of our hotel the Adams Inn. The seating was private and comfortable. The service was prompt and courteous. The food was was prepared from fresh ingredients especially the hot and sour soup was spicy and delicious. We shared an appetizer, soup, and entree which was enough for the two of us and the check was under $25. Very good value.

“Good Quality For The Price”
Reviewed May 1, 2014

We ate here the night before the Boston Marathon because we needed to load up on rice and it was close to our hotel, the Adams Inn. The quality was very good and you can request your food prepared without added salt, or especially added MSG. The place is very nice, the food is good, and it is not very expensive. It is a good place to eat!

“Great Food and Service”
Reviewed April 4, 2014

We went there for dinner Wednesday night and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We usually get take out here and enjoy the food, but dining in is very pleasurable. The décor and atmosphere are relaxing and the service is superb. As soon as we were seated water, hot tea and warm rolls were brought. We ordered a Pu-Pu platter for 2, onion rings and chicken chow mein. Needless to say we brought more than half of it home as the portions are large. I find this one of the benefits as we spent less than we do in other restaurants for far less food. This will always be our go to restaurant for Chinese food.

“Good food - Large Portions”
Reviewed August 30, 2013

It had been years since we ate at the Cathay Pacific Restaurant, but after driving by there recently we decided to give it a try.

The menu is large, so we decided it was easier to order from the lunch menu. The waitress brought us water, a pot of tea & 2 large rolls and butter. I ordered a Mai Tai Drink ($8.45) & my husband ordered a bottle of Budweiser Beer ($4.95).

I ordered #30 from the Lunch Menu - General Gau's Chicken, Boneless Ribs and Pork Fried Rice ($9.45). My husband ordered #11 from the Lunch Menu - Egg Foo Yong, Chicken Teriyaki, Crab Rangoon & Vegetable Lo Mein ($8.15). Delicious. We could only finish half so we took the rest to go.

Everything was tasty and cooked just right. We really liked the Crab Rangoon. The food could have been a little warmer so that is why I gave it 4 stars.

This restaurant was very clean & nicely decorated. There is plenty of parking spaces. We will be back.
