Just to keep folks away! Can be a bit of a line on Saturday and Sunday brunch time, it is a fairly small seating area (maybe 30 people can sit in here at any one time?), and the place appears on first bllush to be run down. But it is well worth every second you wait. The waitstaff and chef\owner are super nice, very "neighborhood" oriented, and HANDS DOWN the best corned beef hash I have ever had. If you want plain old pancakes, this is your place, too. If you want fancy pancakes, go somewhere else. And their lunch menu is tasty, too. I have had the tuna melt and the chicken soup, but I usually stick with the good old corned beef hash. Everything is very well priced. Ask for a corned beef hash omelete for a real treat! Oh, this place is cash only, and they are closed by 3 p.m. or so.
