“Excellent lunch”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 26, 2012

A friend and I recently had lunch here. Super service. The food was good. Friend had lobster roll, loved it. I had bbq chicken sandwich, which was very good. Our server was excellent. We stayed extra long to chat and he was really nice about it. The location is excellent.

“It was a dark and stormy night...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 13, 2012

Really! It was a dark and stormy night and Port 305 offered a warming and comfortable haven from the elements. Through much of the year, Marina Bay is bustling with activity. During the winter months, the crowds are way down and the restaurants operate on limited schedules. Thankfully, Port 305 was open to a casual and lively crowd. Our party of six included guests fro, Ireland and they were pleased by the overall experience as well.
Everyone at our table enjoyed the meals. For service, a young waiter was more than friendly and accommodating. He went out of his way to assist one of our diners who had specific dietary concerns. He was patient and helpful in offering suggestions. And, at one point, he returned to the table and suggested alternative options as well.
The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable and the prices were reasonable.
The menu was quite diverse. As the weather was miserable, I was in the mood for something that was warming and I started with a bowl of chowder. It was very good. Continuing on that theme, I ordered the Chicken Pot Pie as my entrée and it was excellent.
Port 305 is associated with a restaurant group. Our original intent was dining at their sister restaurant next door… Siro’s. But, with the diminished crowds in the winter, Siro’s was temporarily closed and Port 305 was handling everything quite well. For those who may have been seeking some of the Italian fare from Siro’s, Port 305 offered menu items to satisfy their cravings. Again, the menu offers terrific variety…something for everyone. It’s a decent “take” and I look forward to retuning soon.
