Four weeks of staying in New England B&B's and this was the tops due to the many small details - list of guest names/hometowns at checkin, personal letter in room, name on door, extensive library of travel books and guides of New England, use of cd's and tapes for Acadia Park driving tour, homemade cookies and refreshments available from 4pm-9pm, incredibly gourmet breakfasts (poached pears in amaretto sauce!) and an incredibly friendly atmosphere which had guests visiting in the living room with a cozy fire in the fireplace and classical music piped in. Thom, the host/owner, was very helpful and gracious. A delightful stay at a reasonable price.
