My wife and I spent one night here last week. All-in-all, we were pleased with our stay at the Manor House.
-Good afternoon snacks during the afternoon tea. Lemonade and ice water were also available if you're not a tea drinker.
-Good location to the downtown area of Bar Harbor. It was only about a two block walk to get over to the north end of Main Street.
-Plenty of common space within the house to spread out and relax.
-Lots of chairs on the front porch to relax on a nice day.
-Wi-fi available throughout the house as well as on the front porch.
-Comfortable room and decent sized bathroom area.
-We would consider staying again at the Manor House the next time we are in the Bar Harbor area; however, if we were to stay here again, I would request a room that faces away from the street. With the nighttime temperatures cooling off into the 50s, there was no need to run the central A/C; however, the room we stayed in (Room #6) had two windows that faced directly toward the street. We found that there was quite a bit of vehicular and pedestrian noise from the main road around the time we went to sleep. There are several guest rooms that face the main street, so be aware of this in your room selection.
