The Hampton Inn Bar Harbor was fabulously located. Not too close to town but not far away. The place was spotless and quiet. The pool was never crowded. The staff were helpful to a tee. Free shuttle service ran into town every 15 minutes and entry to Acadia National Park was a very short drive away using a back entrance with little to no traffic.

Big disappointment with this Hampton Inn. Our first evening was a disaster very little sleep due to an air conditioning unit that sounded like a plane taking off each time it kicked on. Why do they bother to heist such a poor quality room on anyone is beyond comprehension?

This was our first trip to Bar Harbor, so beyond reading reviews we went with a brand that we knew (with great reviews). The property FAR exceeded expectations and we will be back. The views of the harbor are amazing, the pool was wonderful, the breakfast was the best we have had at a HI and the facilities overall were top notch. I don’t have another point of comparison, but we were definitely blown away. The staff also went above and beyond for every request no matter how small. We would highly recommend this hotel for the location, staff and amenities and proximity to Acadia. All wonderful!

This is the best hotel and the location is perfect. It's a few minutes away from town and Acadia National Park. This hotel is a little pricey for a Hampton inn, but well worth it. The beds are comfortable, indoor and outdoor pools are small but great for the kids, and breakfast is fine. The hotel looks new and is very clean. They even provide little Togo bags of water and snacks for your day of hiking or traveling, which is a nice touch. Will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area.

The staff was super helpful and friendly right when we walked in the door. Awesome pool for kids when you are not out in Acadia National Park. Super easy to get to Main St thanks to the shuttle. The coffee/tea area had complimentary chocolate chip cookies, muffins, and other delicious treats. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.
