“Peaceful and pretty”
Reviewed December 2, 2012

I was shopping in Bar Harbor and wandering around when I came upon the path that I had forgotten about. It was perfect. My husband and I wanted to see everything in the area so had been overdoing. This was just what I needed. It wasn't a mountain climb but a nice walk with beautiful views. It isn't overly touristy or crowded so you can go at your own pace. Loved it.

“A lovely walk”
Reviewed November 24, 2012

The walk along the the sea front is lovely. We walked from the town along the seafront as far as the path went and then cut back into the town. A lovely brisk walk - lovely views

“Nice little walk”
Reviewed November 20, 2012

Clean, well paved, and marked. More history of the "summer cottages" of at least 14 rooms would be juicy.

“short but sweet”
Reviewed November 3, 2012

Its a short trail but with our cruise ship in the harbor as a backdrop it was a great setting. Its best to do the shore walk first as it goes up the coast and brings you back at the far end of main street , then you can walk main street and check out all the shops and resturants.

“Everyone can enjoy this path!”
Reviewed November 3, 2012

We walk this path just about every time we visit ANP, which is at least once a year. It's one of our easy walks when we don't feel like climbing a mountain. It connects Sand Beach to Thunder Hole and Gorham Mt. All places we always visit.
