Very comfortable and clean. Excellent location with easy walk to anywhere in town (yet very private and quiet) and very near entrance to Acadia. Our room (#9) was on the 3rd floor and carrying heavy suitcases up the narrow stairway was a bit of a challenge. If you find a room on the first 2 floors that would be much easier. Hosts were very helpful with advice and breakfast was very nice. I would stay here again gladly.

We stayed at the Mosely Cottage Inn on our recent visit to Bar Harbor. It is located on a quiet side street within walking distance of anywhere you might want to go in the village of Bar Harbor. The inn is beautifully furnished and everyone we met on staff there was warm and welcoming. We stayed on the second floor in the Jordan Pond Room; one of the things I enjoyed most was the beautiful porch. It was furnished with comfortable wicker furniture and provided the perfect place to relax during an afternoon break or after a long day of activity... and on a clear night the view of the stars is spectacular! I must mention breakfast at the inn...every day an array of delicious serve-yourself choices, followed by several hot selections, made to order and served at your table. A personal favorite was the tropical coffee cake! Don't miss an opportunity to enjoy dining at one of the tables outside on the beautiful front porch. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would love to go back again.

We stayed in the Inn on the 2nd floor. Our room was lovely, we had a king bed, working fireplace, nice bath, huge walk-in closet and a lovely private porch. We really enjoyed the porch, for coffee in the morning and to rest & relax in the late afternoon before going out for the evening. The innkeepers were great, they gave us some excellent recommendations for restaurants and shopping. The Inn itself is charming, lots of history and great location. Easy walk to restaurants, shops and the waterfront, yet tucked in a side street so away from the noise, hustle and bustle of main street. We will stay here again, hopefully soon!

The web site looked good, but the B&B was even better than the pictures! Our room was quite lovely (not frilly) and spacious, our beds (a king and a double - hard to find sometimes for two friends travelling) were plush and so comfortable. Our room had 6 windows overlooking big maple trees and a quiet street below, yet was only a minute away from the middle of town. Our hosts were pleasant and welcoming without being overbearing, and offered just about anything we wanted for breakfast in the dining room. A large living room and front porch also provided lots of space for guests. I can't find anything negative to say about this place -- and I would go back in a heartbeat!!

My husband and I visited Bar Harbor for a couple of nights and had the pleasure of staying in the Moseley Cottage Inn. It is a wonderful B&B, the house is beautiful, very taken care of, our room was very spacious, it had a private bathroom with plenty of space, and peaceful views of the garden. The breakfasts were delicious, so much food for breakfast!! We totally relaxed and enjoyed the visit.

Our family of four loved our time at the Moseley Cottage Inn. It was a favorite with our 14yr old son and 10yr old daughter. We stayed in the Precipice room with its spacious accomodations and very comfortable beds. The breakfast was my highlight and exceeded our expectations. Of all the places we stayed on our two week trip to New England this was the best. Our hostess/co-owner of Moseley was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the Bar Harbor surroundings and events that would be of interest to us. I also enjoyed sitting in the parlor relaxing and listening to the piano played by our kids. If we go back to Bar Harbor this is the place where we will stay.
