I can't speak highly enough about our stay at Moseley Cottages. When you enter the main building it has all the old world charm of the early 1900s, but with all the amenities from today to make it comfortable and welcoming. We stayed in the Sargent room which was super clean, very spacious and overall just really nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast each morning was delicious. And being so close to all the shops and activities of Bar Harbor was great.

Room Tip: I don't think there is a bad room in the place. All were very clean, newer mattresses, and great amenities.

What a lovely house! Perfectly located within a block of the main street but quiet in the evening. A couple blocks in the opposite direction brings you to the public ocean side walkway, which is a very pleasant side trip.

Our room, Number 1, was absolutely gorgeous, with a private porch, chairs, couch, huge closet, and large bathroom. Bar Harbor is a busy, touristy town with several good restaurants, but the main draw, of course, is its proximity to Acadia.

The inn is a little expensive but well worth the ambience and location.

The food was good with a daily special and a choice of made-to-order eggs as well.

The owners have a background in the restaurant business and are friendly and informative.

The rooms welcoming, spacious and comfortable. We stayed in the Sargeant room and really liked the accommodations...my husband was skeptical but once we arrived he was very pleased. We both loved the location and proximity to walk to the village and harbor. The breakfast is the best you can get in Maine - honestly fresh, delicious superior! The staff is so friendly and helpful, I can recommend this inn without reservation and would go back.

My wife and 2 older children stayed for 3 days while we toured Acadia. We stayed in the Norumbega room. It was spacious and tastefully appointed. It was right off the entryway but not noisy. Best of all we had our own private porch with a swing. It was a pleasant place to retreat to after a day hiking. The breakfasts were sumptuous and the staff was so pleasant. We can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay!

Just completed our third stay at Moseley Cottage and Town Motel. It was a wonderful relaxing time. Located one block off Main Street we were able to walk everywhere with no worries about driving or parking. It is amazingly quiet with no hint of traffic noise. Pam is a gracious hostess with freshly baked goodies always available in the main cottage. Rooms are well appointed with amenities. Hated to leave!
