This Episcopal church had me ready to convert ... so exceptionally beautiful. My stepdaughter and I were fortunate enough to be the only visitors one recent Saturday afternoon, and the gloom and faint musty smell contrasted with the brilliance of the Tiffany stained-glass windows. Sitting quietly in this jewel-box, looking at the side-chapels and feeling the atmosphere of prayer that wrapped around us was a beautiful and oddly uplifting feeling. There's a guide you can purchase that explains the windows, but take time to feel the church itself, too.
