Every year, we go to Maine for two weeks. Every year, we spend a good bit of our time here. I love it! I love Angel and Matt, who are not only great people, but who go out of their way to make people feel comfortable and welcome. The weather isn't always great in the summer, but there are so many things to do at the Opera House, you won't get bored. Where else can you get great coffee, fresh baked pastries, internet access, advice on places to go, help troubleshooting computer problems, the latest Mets scores (even if you're not a Mets fan), play your favorite board or computer games, watch the World Cup, read the Sunday paper, or do any number of the other things I've done there? For us, this is the heart of Bar Harbor. Every year, it gets better. I couldn't recommend it more highly!

Totally different to anything else in Bar Harbor, you'll either love the eclectic ethos or be it off by it. Great baking, good Internet in 30 minute slots, nice music, very relaxed

Visited the Opera House coffee house again and was pleased to receive the same warm welcome and great hospitality once again. Nice place, great people....and the coffee & bake goods make the Opera House in Bar Harbor a comfortable place to spend a little time whne in town.

Have everything we wanted: cool and relaxed atmosphere. Tables exerywhere and even internet section at back.

We had breakfast here twice during our stay. It is a very relaxed self service cafe. We had bagels and pastries and great cappuccinos. I loved the eclectic decor and relaxed atmosphere.
