“Best non-lobster dinner in Bar Harbor!”
Reviewed August 21, 2012

My husband and I came here on our second night in Bar Harbor and were very impressed by all the food and local beer selections. They had a good mix of seafood and non-seafood dishes, but we really loved the different take on steamed mussels that were in a mustard-cream sauce (I usually hate cream). The chickpea fritter sandwich was super flavorful for a vegetarian option too. The staff was kind and very knowledgeable about the local beers. Great environment and not far from everything else.

“Outdoor seating; unique restaurant”
Reviewed August 13, 2012

Lots of variety on the menu, including many vegetarian options. We loved the outdoor seating and the bocce ball. This spot is tucked away and is very unique. Very reasonably priced, especially for the large portion size.

“Outstanding food, romantic atmosphere”
Reviewed August 3, 2012 via mobile

I had been wanting to eat at Lompoc for a while (we are locals) and I finally got the chance tonight. We sat outside in one of the most romantic dining atmospheres- brick patio, cafe style tables, Christmas lights and candles. Not to mention the enormous tree in the middle of it all! I had the fishwich and my other half had the bang bang (fried chicken sandwich). Both sandwiches were exceptional...the fishwich is the best sandwich I have had in ages! Tangy and flavorful slaw atop crispy hake on a challah roll. You have the option of fries or a green salad. We shared an ice cream cookie sandwich for dessert which was delectable and obviously homemade! We cannot wait to go back to try some entrees. Service was very friendly and attentive. This is a great dinner spot in a quieter part of Bar Harbor, especially good for couples! Highly, highly recommended.

“Great gem away from the crowds!”
Reviewed August 2, 2012 via mobile

We really enjoyed everything about this place! Unique menu, great service and good food! The beehive appetizer was yummy! Scallops entree was fabulous as was the peanut noodle entree! Loved the French press coffee too! They have a bocce ball court to keep the kids busy which was nice!
