Small shop with excellent service. The pizza was delicious and the staff answered all our ridiculous questions with a smile. Also they are donating all their tips and recycled bottles to veterans until August of 2014. Overall a must to support small businesses!

“Worst eating experience in Bar Harbor!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 7, 2013

I was excited about the reviews for the loaded veggie pizza and wanted a quick bite to bring back to our cottage rather than deal with downtown again. The woman at the counter seemed very depressed and was barely going through the motions with us and the other two customers that came by at 7:45pm. We ordered the veggie pizza on wheat and was told that they didn't have much mushrooms but we ordered it anyways. The guy that made the pizza seemed nice enough and had an apologetic tone when he spoke with us. We got back to our cottage and took a bit of the limp, sparsely veggied pizza we paid $16.95 plus tax for. Yuck! It was barely cooked and was about the equivalent of public school pizza. Maybe we ate there on one of their "off" days?

“casual pizza and sub shop”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 25, 2012

Really enjoyed this place. Wonderful pizza. You can buy some already made by the slice- $2. Sandwiches looked very good. Is going to be open for breakfast soon. This place is a little farther down the street along the main drag, so lots of tourists won't walk that far unless they know about it. Recommended for a quick lunch, or food to go. Peyton

“Just the job.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 1, 2012

Great thing about Bar Harbor is that you can pop back into town from Acadia for lunch, everything is so compact. And this place is a great choice; friendly service and a delicious made-to-order pizza (we had Philly steak).

Because it's nearer the south end of Main Street it is also very easy to park outside. You have the option to grab something ready-made if you're in a hurry.

There is no public restroom if you were thinking of a dual purpose visit so go before you get here!

“good food & friendly service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 20, 2012

we ate lunch here twice during our stay since it was located directly across from our hotel, the Bar Harbor Grand. Very friendly workers, gave us some tips on Bar Harbor. The cheese sticks were wonderful and I would recommend the philly steak sub. There are about 3-4 tables inside and a picnic table outside.
