I took this tour with my parents, brother and sister-in-law and it was spectacular! Our tour guide was Roger who is by far the best tour guide I have ever met. He has a great personality and knows the complete history of Bar Harbor. He makes it interesting and exciting. We never stopped laughing once! This tour is very informative and fun all at a great price. We saw all the major attractions of Acadia National Park and then some! It's a tour well worth taking and I highly reccommend Roger!!!!!!!!

Not usually a fan of bus tours but this one was an exception. Our driver and guide, Roger was on his 7000th tour and still energetic, interesting, funny, friendly, very knowledgeable- maybe the best guide ever..P.S sit on the side behind the driver!!

Just returned from a long weekend exploring Acadia and Bar Harbor. The Acadia National Park Tour covered many hot spots such as Cadillac Mt, Thunder Hole, Jordan House and more! Roger, the tour guide was full of information and fun. He even provided several 'perfect' photo stops that you might not have if you did the 'loop' on your own. A must do!!

We weren't sure whether to do the park loop ourselves by car or the bus tour, but I am glad we chose the tour. Roger, a friendly, funny guy who helps the ladies off the bus by hand, is a gentleman, and a riot. He keeps his pet lobster above his visor as he drives, pulling it out once to demonstrate how the fishermen pick lobsters and which ones they have to put back, etc. The tour said 2.5 hrs but ours was closer to 3 hrs! We started through town, with a historical background of some of the clubs, hotels, etc and saw the sand bar to Bar Island, with some hilarious stories of people's vacations gone wrong when they got stranded out there...then started through Acadia National Park. We stopped at all the famous sites, had time for bathroom and water breaks (but I suggest to bring some water with you in case, especially in the summer.) Our bus tour was on an 85 degree day, and the ride was pretty comfortable- the windows open for breezes and photos. The stories Roger told kept everyone laughing the whole time. He even posed for several photos. He bought us a sample popover from Jordan Pond house, allowed the riders to stop and pick wild blueberries, etc. He pointed out family members in the ticket booths and his grandmother's old home in Bar Harbor. All in all, this was beyond our expectations. I'd even take the tour again just to see Roger. Parking was free downtown in the Bayside Landing lot. Fabulous!
