Of course if you start picking up small deficiencies of this hotel, there are quite a few, but still it's more than OK for a resort hotel. The service is friendly enough, polite, most of the time. It's bit slow but I guess that's the Guam style. This is a good hotel for families to stay. The beach is in front of you and the pool is big. You can stay at the poolside or under the parasol on the beach for a whole day. The room is quite spacious. I found the bath room facilities are bit old, except for a Japanese high-tech toilet, i.e., a toilet with warm seat. Maybe, it's a positive result of having so many Japanese tourists here. The hotel location is convenient. A couple of shopping malls are within a walking distance. We joined there sunset breeze BBQ with a show. The food wasn't so great but we enjoyed the tropical feel very much. No regret staying at this hotel!

I had 3 nights at this location and although it is well located and good facilities. It is not very clean certainly not to a five star stadard. Service is the hotel was generaly polite and helpful but I was not pleased with the staff working in the Regency club I found they were slow and not very helpful. It is not quite good but as I said not the worst.

A value for money place with enormous room and bed size and a fantastic pool, location on the beach is also picture perfect. Downtown is 5 minutes by foot. They could renovate the whole thing though, and make it even better.

We often stay at Hyatt at different regions. Hyatt Regency Guam is a good place to spend vocation vith the family. Very friendly service, the staff are always trying to do their best to follow your needs. We would like to say special thanks to Christopher Cortezano for his kind assistance and help.
The hotel has a great location close to many restaraunts and shopping areas. You can also get great rental service from europa rent a car.

A comfortable few nights with lovely views of Tumon Bay. The rooms and facilities are a bit dated are well serviced with amenities and a good value. Yes, its not luxury 5 star but its absolutely fine. The staff are very nice and I loved the 24 hour deli. The pool complex has something for everyone and the beach is well kept.

I plan on staying somewhere else next time even though the staff was attentive and helpful. But this is definitely the worst a Hyatt has to offer - old stained carpets in rooms, A/C that won't go under 70 degrees (room never cools enough for a good night's sleep), ancient uncomfortable beds, and warm hallway floors. The rooms needs serious updating to keep up with the balconies and beach views. The beach has a no waves and is very shallow - not exactly what I needed. The hotel is located in a prime location near all the action, but there are other places to stay in that area. Pool area seem adequate; wifi was not great and somewhat inconsistent. La Merenda for breakfast was great. Transfers to and from airport were great; up to date gym.

We stayed at the Hyatt last year and had terrible service and found the hotel to be definitely not 5 star. (see old review).
We chose to give it another go as we have a toddler and knew the pools would be a highlight for him and the Hyatt does this well. This years stay was much better. The staff made aware we were returning guests were great at making sure this year was a more memorable stay. We were in a club room and arrived late at night- the check in was done in our room which was a great way to start the trip as we could get the baby settled right away-Big tick!
The breezes BBQ & show was great and they were fantastic at allowing the kids to be apart of it.
The beach is outstanding & perfect for kids as it is shallow, no waves and crystal clear-magical! The Hyatt have equipment to hire which our son enjoyed just playing on. They also had 2 little tikes play houses and sand toys directly outside hotel on sand which was a huge hit! One day we got told it was $5 to rent but the other days it was already out for all to enjoy.
The club- The service is poor. Every day we had to ask for more than one of the following basic items: spoon, plate, cups, butter. They could not keep up with the turnover. They were always polite but just not 'onto it'.
Another good touch if your travelling with a baby is the johnsons baby bathroom pack they give you along side the adult products.
Would recommend the airport transfers. comfy and nice cool drinks waiting and air con.
Spa- they book back to back hour appointments so my last 2 visits you don't get a full treatment because they are always running behind-which is poor.
Washing facilities- i was told the closest laudromat was up near micronesian mall- so would advise parents to bring enough clothes or some washing powder for a bath tub wash.
Kmart (20min power walk) has nappies wipes baby foods and some fresh foods to get you by.
Sea Grill was our favourite place to eat- 5 min walk, and kids can draw on the paper table cloths.
Hyatt-ideal location.
Overall a much better stay- our 15month old son loved it, the variety of pools and beach and slide was wonderful.
Really enjoyed our trip to Guam!
