I strongly recommend people to stay elsewhere.

On my way to Palau, I have overnight layover in Guam and I have stayed at Guam Reef. For almost 300usd per night, this place is dated and customer service is horrible.

After I check out at 12 pm, I have a few hours to kill before my flight out. I asked whether I could sit by the swimming pool for a few hours but the management rudely told me no. I have stayed at many hotels around the world and it was the first time that I encountered this.

Add to that unpleasant experience, other than a dated basic room, the hotel does not offering much. Whereas Pacific Island Club down the road offers free kayak and SUP board offered. And there is no free airport pick shuttle. Note that a short taxi ride from the airport costs almost 30 dollars.

So on my way back from Palau, I stayed at the Pacific Island Club, the staff were very nice and accommodating. They let me use their kayak and SUP after I checked out.

We were there for business, stayed on the 5th floor, on the bay side, it was an incredible view! The restaurants are right there! Go to the 18th floor to have Breakfast everyday, go down to the pool for the grill items, and everything is walking distance. The rooms have been redone, but the 5th floor could use a new overhaul - upgrade to floors and counters. However, there is a fridge in the room, tech toilet, balcony with a great view and purified water cooler and water heater for tea and coffee. The staff is very friendly, the amenities are exactly what you want from a resort! Highly recommend the Spa on 2nd Floor, make an appointment today! Best price for the location and view for sure.

We stayed here for a few days which was too long. The access to the Beach is good. There is no Hotel frontage with sun beds etc. from the Hotel. You can pay (expensive) for a small private Beach at the bottom of the stairs. The pool seems quite poor. The Pool (and only) Bar was terrible. Appalling loud music and staff with a real attitude problem. Rooms were OK. Breakfasts very average
