Candyman and lovely Tisa are beautiful people and the bar is as stunning a pcific beach bar as you will find. Rustic and wildly beautiful. Have an icy large Vailima beer.

“Change your (L)attitude”
Reviewed December 12, 2012

One of the best place on Island to check out and relax. Nothing like sitting by the lagoon with the dogs and a cold beer in hand, Candyman is usually around to keep the cold beer and conversation flowing.
A must visit for anyone coming to AS.

“Out of an B&W movie. Not, "Key West"! No, Bogie!”
Reviewed October 14, 2012

Ms.Tisa, is a one of a kind!!! Place looks like an OLD beach hang out, from a B&W movie.
Didn't try the food or the Tatto;s, buy liked Tisa.

Everyone that I talked to, said, "the food is good."

“Best food in American Samoa... However you have to put up with a rude owner!”
Reviewed September 16, 2012

Amazing food here especially when American Samoa is limited with lots of big portioned quantity over quality food. The chef cooks fresh and local produce. Feels like you are eating as a guest on someones property rather than a restaurant as there are no menus and you are prompted to leave and are not made to feel as welcome as a normal restaurant. Watch out for the maitre d Tisa who is unfriendly and rude. She ignored us in favour of chatting to the other table all night.

“Like being on vacation”
Reviewed September 8, 2012

I was living in American Samoa for a year and visited this place often to kick back and relax. It is such a gorgeous place and definitely the nicest and cleanest beach in American Samoa. I is usually pretty empty, unless a cruise ship comes in, so it's very quite and peaceful. I have not had the food there but the pina coladas are great and not overpriced!

If you live on the West side you need to take 2 buses to get here and it takes forevvvvver, but in the end it's more than worth it.
