We stayed here for a few hours during a 12 hour stopover and got the combined rental car/room rate. It was exactly what we needed, which was a place to clean up and rest before going out to explore the island. The room was definitely a little tired and the bathroom smelled a little funky, but you get what you pay for. Staff members were friendly and the location was convenient to the airport.

Close to airport, 5 minutes drive away to the beach, shopping, restaurants, and pika's cafe (see my other review). The staff were nice and the rooms were big. The decor is dated, but the price and location are good. I would stay again.

Room Tip: the 1 bedroom has a separate bedroom from the living room and kitchen

Guam Airport provides a very spacious room with a full kitchen. It is good for extended stays on Guam. The staff are helpful and friendly.

Just remember a few things:

You're on Guam, it's a tropical island with tropical plants and, yes, insects too. Don't freak out if you find a gecko sitting on the porch :)

If you can't afford to pay $200-300/night for a hotel, don't expect a five star hotel. What you will get is a clean, affordable hotel room with friendly service.

I world recommend this hotel to fellow long term travelers.

Stayed here for 3 nights on the 2nd level with balcony facing the pool. Took the Nissan car rental package where u can get a car+room for usd99.

Pros:
- booking was efficient via email with Nissan, no deposit required during booking. Collecting the car and checking in was smooth too, even though my arrival was 1 day late (due to flight cancellation), they honor the booking and no penalty charged.
- room size was relatively big, with kitchen & a small dining table
- conveniently located near airport and 2mins drive from Kmart and 5mins drive to tumon area (where all e happenings take place)

Cons:
- cooking utensils in the kitchen (ie. pots & pans, cups & plates) are Very dirty, totally not usable at all... I even saw a small cockroach in the cupboard.
- coffee & tea are only available at the check-in office, non in the room, so it's quite a hassle to go up & down everyday to get them
- lizard in the bathroom and the bathtub was yellowish n dirty
- bed was quite hard, flat pillows, thin sheets
- overall maintenance of the room is very bad, old furnitures and the air-conditional even broke down
- mostly contractors stay here, so if u on a holiday looking for some R&R, would not recommend this.

I stayed here for one day (literally from 5am to 5pm) when transiting through Guam. Having travelled overnight I wanted somewhere inexpensive (a challenge in itself for Guam) and close to the airport so that I could catch up on some sleep before boarding another red eye special. I guess at a basic level the Guam Airport Hotel met the brief - ultimately it is inexpensive, close to the airport and somewhere to sleep. Other than that, it doesn't have too much going for it.

It didn't start well when at check-in, for some reason the system wouldn't accept my credit card. Also there are no elevators. As my room was on second level, and at 5am other than the lady on the desk there was no other staff on duty, I had to drag my 25 kgs of luggage up 2 flights of steps to get to my room.

The room itself was 'okay', but decor shabby and furniture, bedding etc had seen better days. The bathroom could use a thorough makeover, but failing that a decent clean wouldn't have gone astray.

Although (and as mentioned in other reviews) there was a sizeable kitchen, there were no provisions at all - and I mean nothing. Not even a single tea bag or coffee sachet. Although I found out later that hot coffee was available free of charge from reception, that was after I had walked 10-15 minutes in the heat of the day to K-Mart and bought some basic supplies of food and drink to get me through the day.

Ultimately it was an okay experience, and I guess you get what you pay for. But on the way back through Guam a month later, and with another 12 hour layover to look forward to, I decided to try somewhere else. For a few dollars more I had a much more pleasant experience (see my review for the Hotel Santa Fe if you're interested).

This is my 2nd time at this hotel and with the proximity to the airport, friendly staff and decent rate, it's a pretty good hotel for just one night. My first trip in August 2012 was a last minute booking due to me missing my connecting flight. This time the timing of the flights gives me a 16 hour layover. The room is outdated but it's a studio so the size kinda makes up for it. Bathroom and carpet could use a retouch but otherwise usable. It doesn't smell like mothballs at all and walls are pretty solid, as in concrete, can't hear noise from outside nor the rooms next to or above you.

Did I say the staff was nice? They won't even take the $5 tip for picking me up at the airport!

This hotel is very close to the airport and has a car and room package for $99.00. It was a great deal. Very nice and friendly staff. Rooms are a little dated and the carpet could stand a good cleaning or replacement. Had a flat screen TV which was nice. This was a real value hotel. Will stay here again.
