“Terrific food and entertainment!”
Reviewed February 24, 2013

Chiefs Luau was a perfect choice for a marvelous Hawaiian experience! We started off with some activities like weaving leaves into a headband and trying our hand at throwing a spear. The show is right on the coast and the Pacific provides a scenic background. The meal is preceded by explanation of some traditions about how to cook over the pit and the roast pig is ceremonially uncovered. Food was plentiful and delicious with a good mix of meats, salads, fruits and vegetables, and of course there was poi. Dinner was followed with a wonderful performance of dances, jokes, audience participation and music. The location is beautiful and the experience is suitable for all ages.

The Luau was very good. Enjoyed the performance and audience participation. Food was good and plentiful. Enjoyed the traditional food. This luau is next to the Old Lahania Luau in Maui in quality and performance!

“Fantastic Show Chief's Luau (Best) in Hawaii”
Reviewed February 23, 2013

Great showmanship, wonderful presentation, beautiful grounds, good authentic food, authentic natives, good jokes and what a learning experience. We saw The Chief make fire, saw real authentic dances and hulas. Enjoyed the camaraderie and jokes, and audience participation. The entire production was fascinating. We learned to throw darts, do the hula, and weave palms. We saw the uncovering of the pig, and ate big plates full. The evening was teh highlight of a 2 week stay on Hawaii and all three of us could go back and enjoy the show again. This is by far the best Luau and show in Hawaii. Don't miss out.

“Great luau for families”
Reviewed February 20, 2013

You have many choices for luaus in Hawaii. Chief's Luau ups the entertainment quotient in a family friendly way, making the time both engrossing and humorous. And did I mention the talented singers and dancers? Of the four luaus I have seen over the past ten years, this was definitely the most fun, and I will be sure to recommend to friends and family. The singers and musicians were exceptional, with harmonies and arrangements that brought new appreciation to both traditional and standard selections. The attention paid to children by al the cast did not shortchange adult viewing, and gave the kids present a vey special experience to remember.

“Good show, medeocre food”
Reviewed February 20, 2013

They put on a good show. It seems some of the people who are working there dont really care. The bufffet wasn't too bad but i dont think we ate the pig the unveiled. I think it was "yesterdays pig" very salty. Good after show though.
