A group of women chose the Sunset Cafe to have a Birthday drink and sing some Karaoke two Saturday's ago. We had not been in the place since it was redecorated. The renovations were wonderful but the service seemed very strange. We prepaid for $10 worth of songs at $1 each and there were about 15-20 people in the entire place. There was some popular music playing, but everyone looked dull and like nobody was having a good time. My girlfriend is a fantastic singer and after she sang a Patsy Cline song the other table full of tourists lived up and started singing too. The red haired bartender (pretty girl) seemed irritated and antsy, ignored us when we were trying to order drinks. Never smiled the whole time we were there and in about 30 minutes, had a young girl hand us back $4 of our Karaoke money and announced thru the girl she was closing the bar early, because she had something else to do. We were so shocked that a business was run so badly that looked so good, AND ON A SATURDAY NIGHT AT THAT!!!! We don't know if we will ever go back there again.
