“Great beach for a quiet time”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 4, 2013

Mokuleia is a great, quiet beach. The total opposite of Waikiki and a nice break from the more popular sport on the north shore. Was reluctact to review it lest it become more crowded.
The sand on the beach isnt as clean as elsewhere though so be careful - I've seen a decent amount of glass there. Other than that its a good spot

“get there early as very limited parking spaces”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 24, 2013

The beauty in also doing so is that you will not only have the beach to yourself, you will also be able to do some awesome snorkeling to the right by the reef and if you are as lucky as we were, enjoy the company of numerous green turtles feeding off of the coral.
The water is crystal clear and the water is really calm...Great little spot close by Honolua bay...

“enjoyable beach”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 20, 2013

Parking may be hard to find and there is a short walk down the stairs to the beach.

Once at the beach, the sand is fine, shade can be found to stay out of the sun which is great for families with small kids. The waves were a bit too rough for a toddler and the water gets deep rather quickly but other than that it was a great beach for us bigger "kids". Clear water, great snorkeling with lots of fish and turtles just feet off shore.

“Secluded "Lost" beach”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 6, 2013

We are big "Lost" fans and went to this beach (where the plane landed) after visiting the "Others" camp at Camp Erdman about a mile down the road. We wish we had been prepared to stay for awhile! There were very few people there---very different from Waikiki. There were really no facilities anywhere close, unfortunately- really the only negative. The sand was white, and water was aqua-blue. Absolutely beautiful. The entry into the ocean seemed much more steep than most beaches. Parking is pretty plentiful.

“What a blast!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 22, 2013

We found this gorgeous on our way to Nakalele Blow Hole. Their are built in steps so that is rare but nice. We body surfed here for hours. No bathrooms or facilities whatsoever. A great spot to bring a cooler and a picnic though. This was a serious surf though! Stunning spot and great place for legit pictures.
