Owner description: The Polynesian Cultural Center is one of the most visited destinations in Hawaii! Our beautiful 42 acre park, which sits along the northeast edge of Oahu, features six distinct Polynesian villages, Hawaii, Aotearoa, Fiji, Tahiti, Tonga and Samoa. We offer numerous dining options including daily luaus which provides a delicious island themed buffet and lively entertainment. Our award winning evening show, Ha: Breath of Life features over 100 Polynesian performers, presenting a stirring tale of love, adventure, life and death and featuring championship level fireknife dancers and jaw dropping special effects. We also provide a variety of shops and kiosks offering everything from aloha inspired clothing to quality ukuleles, and island souvenirs to fine jewelry.

We spent the money to take the super ambassador package. It was WELL worth the money. We had our own personal tour guide and had the best seats in every single village at the center. At the Horizions show, we also had 1st row seating right in the middle of the show area.
I HIGHLY reccommend the super ambassador package. You will learn alot and will enjoy a very personable experience.

The evening show at the Polynesian Cultural Center which followed the luau buffet was phenomenal. The majority of the performers are students at the BYU campus there. Their high energy level and obvious commitment to giving the audience their best made the show extremely memorable. It more than made up for the mediocre food served at the luau.

The Polynesian Cultural Center is just unbelievably great. Seriously - I was in awe the whole day. It's so well done that it easily competes with any commercial theme park (read: Disney) anyday. It's not kitchy, it's not commercial, it's just wholesome, entertaining, educational, and outstanding. The show at the end of the night exceeds any expectations you might have.
The only negative thing I can say about my day was that the food at the buffet we chose was pretty bad. The variety was there, but only 1 main dish tasted good at all. (We chose the least expensive buffet.)
And, it goes without saying, the people that work there are beautiful. You're in a beautiful location, the landscaping is breathtaking (waterfalls, etc.), and the island/cultural representatives are just gorgeous.
This was by far our best day in Hawaii. Worth every penny!
